Need something? Please take what you can use — no questions asked.
Have pet supplies you no longer need and would like another pet owner to have? You’re welcome to drop them off at the table during the event as well.

Thank You for Visiting Us at the Fair! 🐾🎡
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Friends of Ashland County Dogs and Ashland County Dog Shelter booths at the Ashland County Fair!
We loved meeting so many of you, and we especially loved seeing all the happy faces leaving with their FREE painted pumpkins! 🎃 Thank you to everyone who stopped to visit, made a donation, participated in our activities, or simply took the time to learn more about what we do for the dogs in our community.
Guess the Treats! 🦴
Nearly 200 people took a guess at the number of treats in our container! The treats were generously donated by Pet Stop, and the winner received an amazing basket donated by Brenda Lane, filled with more than $250 worth of Avon products and goodies!
The actual number: 340½ treats
Winning guess: 342
🎉 Congratulations to Joan B., our winner!
What’s Next? 🐾
Keep checking our Facebook page and this website for upcoming events and fundraisers! We’re already looking ahead to more fun, including possible Football Squares for the National Championship and Super Bowl — and we may just have a BIG event coming in February! 👀
And, as always, please take a moment to check out the wonderful pups currently waiting for their forever homes at the Ashland County Dog Shelter.
Thank you for supporting Friends of Ashland County Dogs and helping us make a difference for the dogs in our community. ❤️🐾
